W. A. "Wally" James, founder and principal has been engaged in the business of safety in the leisure and more conventional industries since the early 1960's. His training and experience extend from the advent of OSHA and its industrial development and the early issues involving snow-skiing bindings through the many steps of evolution in the leisure industries. An inveterate trainer and teacher, Wally served the Central Division of the National Ski Patrol as staff advisor for training and testing which led to his association with the waterpark and f.e.c. evolution.

In 1986, Con-Serv Associates was sprung from Wally's tenure as executive vice president and general manager of Brandywine Leisure Enterprises which operated a major mid-western ski resort, waterpark, RV park and catering facility in the Cleveland Ohio market. As a small company with broad experience and training Con-Serv coupled with industry specialists to provide its clientele with the total resources needed for sound development, management and support.

Today Con-Serv continues to be a small company, aligned with Associates who bring unchallenged expertise to support it's own diverse ownership, management, and operations background.
